Refund and Alterations Policy

JFMG currently issues PMSE licences on Ofcom’s behalf. Our refund and alterations policy is therefore identical to that which is outlined within Ofcom’s Licensing Policy Manual.

Consequently, refunds and alterations are only applicable when an applicant has paid for a service, but JFMG are unable to provide that service due to lack of available spectrum. The only other instance where a refund or an alteration is permitted is when JFMG have made an administrative mistake (such as overcharging)

For the avoidance of doubt, refunds and alterations will not be permitted for the following:

Errors in date/s selected
Errors in location/s selected
Surrender of licence
Cancelled events
Un-required or unused frequencies

This list is not exhaustive and applies to both online booking and applications via the office.

Therefore please ensure that you are clear of your requirements and your budget before application and payment. If you are unsure of the cost of your application you can get an indication by using our online fees calculator (available via the left hand menu) or we will be happy to provide you with a quote prior to processing the work.

Please also note that if interference is experienced JFMG will provide a free of charge replacement, but refunds do not apply.

PMSE licence fees are currently based on recovering the cost of issuing licences and assignments and not for spectrum usage.
