Channel 21
The tuning range of some standard U H F talkback equipment , normally tuned for 457/467 or 455/468 M H z, can be extended to reach frequencies within channel 21 (470 - 478 MHz).
This flexibility alleviates the pressures on possible saturation of talkback bands at larger events and in congested urban areas (esp. London).
Typical frequency ranges for channel 21 talkback are 474.00625 - 474.99375 base Tx and 470.00625 - 470.99375 portable Tx.
Restricted use in areas where domestic TV pictures are transmitted on channel 21
