High Power
These are audio links or amplified radiomics with a power greater than 10mW (50mW body-worn) but not exceeding 1W.
470 - 854MHz In-Band
The UHF TV Broadcasting Band, 470 to 854 MHz can be allocated for high-power radio mics where not in use for television transmissions.
The primary duty of JFMG when assigning "In-band" frequencies is to ensure that any operations do NOT cause interference to TV reception. Frequencies will therefore only be assigned where there is no apparent risk of interference.
To check which frequencies are potentially available please contact us. We will
need the address of the location concerned (preferably with full post-code or grid
reference) and the frequency ranges under consideration. Note that we cannot guarantee
any particular frequency is available until confirmed by an assignment.
Please note frequencies within 470 - 854 MHz will be affected by digital switchover. Visit our DDR and Digital TV Switchover news page for all of the latest developments.
Channel 69 (854 - 862 MHz)
The Channel 69 frequencies are potentially available for both indoor and outdoor use throughout the United Kingdom.

Doesn't match up?
If your kit isn't tuned to the frequencies suggested you may still be able use it.
Check Your Frequencies to see if we can licence it at the power, bandwidth and location you require.
If you use our recommended channels licensing should be quicker and we are more likely to meet your requirements. You will also be able to book online.
