Wireless Microphone and Personal Monitor Spectrum post 2013 clearance

Following DSO in October 2012 there will be some alterations to the availability for PMSE throughout the UK as re-allocation of DTT from Channel 61 and 62 into other TV channels takes place. This will be phased over 2012 and 2013. The tool below gives the final landscape of PMSE availability once all these changes have taken place.

Indoor:	This column indicates the spectrum that is available for use inside a building provided its construction sufficiently reduces wireless microphone or personal monitor signals to a level outside that will not cause interference to digital television reception. Typically, buildings meeting this requirement will be substantial permanent structures, mainly constructed from brick, block, stone or clad in metal. For other building types use column "Other".
Other:	This column indicates the spectrum that is available for outdoor use or within buildings constructed of materials unlikely to reduce the level of wireless microphone or personal monitor signals sufficiently to prevent interference to digital television reception. Typically this applies to temporary structures and permanent buildings clad with glass or similar materials.
Frequencies:
	The lowest and highest usable (centre) frequencies within this TV channel at this site. The blue bar indicates the portion of this TV channel that is usable.
Quality Indicator (Indoor only):
	The channel is not used for TV broadcast reception at this location. Background signal levels for TV would not normally be expected to cause interference to operation of typical wireless microphone or personal monitor systems.
	The channel is used for TV broadcast reception at this location. Expected signal levels for TV are low representing edge-of-service area. Use of typical wireless microphone or personal monitor systems within a building of predominately brick, block, stone or metal construction is unlikely to be affected.
	The channel is used for TV broadcast reception at this location. Expected signal levels for TV are moderate representing main coverage area. Use of typical wireless microphone or personal monitor systems within a building having substantial construction to reduce penetration of TV signals may be successful.
	The channel is used for TV broadcast reception at this location. Expected signal levels for TV are high representing nearby high power broadcast station. Use of typical wireless microphone or personal monitor systems is not generally recommended unless extreme care in deployment is taken to minimise the risk of interference from TV signals.
