The spectrum made available by Ofcom for programme making and special events (PMSE) is detailed below along with the Technical Licence Conditions which apply to each band. The individual frequency ranges are set out indicating their typical PMSE use, though the bands are technology neutral. This means that they can be used for any PMSE application provided transmissions meet the Technical Licence Conditions. Most PMSE bands are shared with other radio users and so various geographical, temporal or operational restrictions apply, determining the spectrum availability for assignments. Availability is also subject to JFMG co-ordinating new requests with other PMSE use.
The full list of frequencies and Technical Licence Conditions are awaiting updates so have been temporarily removed.
[1] Limited to -41.95 dBm/4 kHz due to limit in standard that states out-of-band emissions do not need to be below -37 dBm (in 12.5 kHz).
