Audio Links
We recommend that users and suppliers contact us before making any purchases to ensure that the equipment can be licensed and that plans are technically feasible. Customers are strongly advised not to hire or purchase equipment before obtaining a licence, as JFMG gives no guarantee that a particular frequency (or frequencies) will be available. Customers should not assume that where a frequency assignment has been made in the past, the same frequency will necessarily be available in the future. It is also recommended that associated radio stations share assignments for news gathering as an extension of an existing usage area may be possible, rather than finding a new frequency, which may not.
We do not generally licence direct broadcasting to an audience, except when "broadcasting" to closed user groups material such as a referee's comments, conference translations or audio descriptions for the visually impaired .Please see Audio Distribution.
Doesn't match up?
If your kit isn't tuned to the frequencies suggested you may still be able use it.
Check Your Frequencies to see if we can licence it at the power, bandwidth and location you require.
If you use our recommended channels licensing should be quicker and we are more likely to meet your requirements. You will also be able to book online.
